Some things cannot be cleaned by wiping. The grime on a ring sits behind the setting, the film on glasses collects in the hinge, and the residue on a makeup brush ferrule is buried where no cloth reaches. Ultrasonic cleaning solves this by vibrating the water itself, creating microscopic bubbles that scrub every surface of a submerged object simultaneously.
Operation is straightforward: fill the tank with water, add a drop of mild detergent for heavily soiled items, drop the piece in and run a cycle. Rings and chains come out noticeably brighter, glasses lose the haze at the lens edge, watch bands shed the grey build-up between links, and makeup brushes release pigment that hand washing leaves behind. Razors, dentures, coins and small tools all work in the same tank.
The compact body suits a bathroom shelf, a dressing table or a workbench, and it is sold in white. Avoid cleaning pearls, opals, emeralds, coral, amber and any glued or fracture-filled stone, as the vibration can loosen settings or damage soft material — check valuable pieces with a jeweller first. Empty and dry the tank after each use and keep it away from children.
